When golf retailer PGA Tour Superstores wanted to re-create their unique in-store shopping experience online, they engaged Red for digital strategy, information architecture, design and front-end development of the new site. Working closely with the retailer’s brand, merchandising and back-office groups, we designed and developed an enterprise-grade e-commerce website that allows shoppers to easily compare, review and purchase merchandise; watch tutorial videos; connect with pros in real time; and schedule service or lessons at the store nearest them. Red also provided post-launch support, created emails and social marketing promotions, and designed enhanced brand pages for TaylorMade, Cobra, Puma, Adidas and Callaway.
On-line transactions have since increased 100+%, leading the client’s licensor, The PGA Tour, to replace their own online store with a direct link to the Superstore’s.
